Zachary Tyson, Paralegal
Zachary graduated from the University of Vermont in 2013 with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Film Theory. While in Vermont, Zachary WWOOF'd (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) at an organic farm in Ronco Scrivia, Italy as a farmhand, immersing himself in the culture and lifestyle. He also worked on the Vermont Family Inmate Survey (a joint project between Vermont’s Department of Corrections and UVM) where he found his passion for the law. After graduation, Zachary applied for the position of Intern at the Chittenden County Public Defender’s Office in Burlington,Vermont. Zachary worked his way up to Lead Intern, Defense Investigator, assisting in both misdemeanor and felony cases. In early 2015, Zachary joined Hiller, PC as a paralegal. With his astute mind and dedication to the team,Zachary has quickly become an instrumental and valuable member of Hiller, PC. Zachary assists with all phases of litigation and transactions, performs industry research, and attends industry events in support of Hiller, PC's cannabis law practice.
